March 2024 Update: NADRA’s Latest NICOP Fee for Bahrain

Lahore, Pakistan – Good news for Overseas Pakistanis! The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has rolled out a fresh initiative, introducing the new Smart National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistanis (SNICOP) to our compatriots residing abroad.

Now, if you’re a Pakistani citizen living abroad, you can easily apply for this document tailored for the country you’re residing in. And here’s the cherry on top: with this SNICOP in hand, you can breeze into Pakistan without the hassle of acquiring a visa, especially if you hold dual nationality. But here’s the catch: to snag this smart NICOP, you need to have your passport number handy; it’s a must.

NADRA has set up two different fee structures for the Smart NICOP, depending on the region you’re in. Take Bahrain, for instance, where a significant chunk of Pakistanis live, be it for work or other reasons. It falls under Zone B.
